Tanned #1 grade size 3XLarge Raccoon hide. Prime coon caught in the cold of Winter, nicely furred. These are Prime Nebraska Raccoons, XXXL in size, and the plushest fur you can find. Coon have been professionally tanned in our shop helping to support small local business, and are case skinned tanned, real soft and supple hides for making hats, craft items, and also neat wall hangings. We use Alum tanning process that is all natural and no chemical used. We have had great success with the tanning process with hides lasting well over 40 years. Coon measure approximately 37-43 inches from nose to end of tail, and 8 inches wide on top side at hips. These coon weighed approximately 25 pounds when whole, real big size. This listing is for 1 coon, but many are available, upon purchase listing renews if you need more than 1. All my tanned animal listings come from a select group of trappers that are licensed, they treat the animal as humanely as possible with much respect, and no suffering. Much of the animals are used for other items with little to no waste of the animal.
